STUDENT MINISTRY AT ROSS GROVE
Nursery Ministry
The Nursery Ministry at Ross Grove isn’t just dirty diapers and snotty noses. It is warm hugs, cheerful laughter, tiny hands and feet, and sharing the love of Jesus with the smallest members of our church. This committee is responsible for making sure the babies and toddlers of our church feel at home while away from home. We strive to develop relationships with the little ones so that they can see and feel God’s love through our ministry. It may seem overwhelming sometimes, but hearing the little ones talking and singing about Jesus will make a huge impact on your life. We offer playtime, music time, and crafts. Parents must register for drop-off and fill out simple paperwork on the first visit.
Nursery is available for Sunday School, Morning Worship, and Wednesday Night.
Children’s Ministry
The Children’s Ministry at Ross Grove is a place where all kindergarten through 5th-grade children are welcome. We strive to provide a safe place for kids to hang out, learn about Jesus, and grow their relationships with God and each other. We aim to teach them about Jesus through lessons, music, videos, games, and projects. In Children’s Ministry, we are dedicated to building relationships with the children in hopes of showing them the love of Christ. If you are looking for a way to serve the church and have a passion for children, GROVEKids is where you need to be. We are called to have child-like faith, and what better way to practice that than to teach the children? All volunteers for this department must be vetted and pass a background check. See our Children’s Ministry Director if you are interested in service or have students in your family to enroll.

Youth Ministry
All pre-teens and teenagers (6th – 12th Grade) are encouraged and welcome to join the Youth Group, an integral part of the Student Ministry here at Ross Grove. On Wednesday evenings, we set aside a special time for fun activities, connecting with fellow peers, reflection, and, most importantly, for the students to grow their faith. We create a safe and enriching place for students to ask questions and to be themselves. Many laughs are shared during gatherings throughout the year, such as movie nights, bonfires, summer camp, worship concerts, the occasional lock-in, field trips, and parties. We can’t make these special events happen without the love and support of our church members, especially our volunteers. Volunteering with the Youth Group will give you an opportunity for mentorship and a chance to share your faith with our kiddos. If you would like to make an impact on our youth’s spiritual growth, the Youth Group would be an excellent place for you!
